The Annual Thirsty Thursday Summer Party heads to The West Lane Inn with Sarah & Bernard, The Cake BoxAncona's Wine & Liquors and SusiLaura Massage!

West Lane Inn owners, Christine and Danille, have graciously offered their beautiful front lawn and porch to hold our annual summer party with food and libations from Sarah's Wine Bar/Bernard's, The Cake Box and Ancona's Wine & Liquors. Susi Laura Massage will be holding a raffle, all riders are auto entered. 

This is the grand finale of the Thirsty Thursday season. While life is quite different from past years, our spirit is strong as we continue this celebratory night. 

Just a few things you need to do to make this a fun, festive and safe night...

1)Pre-sign up is required. 2020 TT's are for members only please. Choose between salmon, chicken or vegetarian dinner from Sarah & Bernard. Sign up asap so they can prepare for us.

2)Park & Ride Meet Up is at Ridgefield Congregational Church, 103 Main Street, Ridgefield. Line up according to pace and form pods of 6. Ride leaves promptly at 6pm. *Please use front and rear flashing lights. 

3)Have the route loaded into GPS/Phone. Thank you for taking this step before you come. It makes the night so much better for all.

4)Head over to the beautifully renovated West Lane Inn post ride with a lawn chair, mask and good cheer. Food and beverage will be there for all registered.

5)Maintain social distancing.

6)Enjoy the evening with your RBSC friends and family.

***SPECIAL NOTE! ALL riders are required to have the route uploaded into a gps or phone. Pods are self-led and...it is dangerous to ride in a group where not everyone knows the upcoming turns, twists and intersections. Please help us help you have a wonderful, safe evening...have the route! (Thanks)

Gravel Route 

Pre-ride Requirements:

  • pre-online sign in required, no paper/pen sign in
  • members only, no guests at this time
  • please indicate if you plan on staying for post-ride gathering
  • ride and post ride party limited to 50, pre sign up required 
  • upload your route to gps

Ride Requirements:

  • groups of 6 or less (non-negotiable)
  • having the route is required (just safer that way)
  • carry a mask (neck gaiters are great)
  • social distance at start, breaks and at post ride party
  • carry water, food, cell phone, gps and flat repair kit
  • bike should be tuned, tires properly inflated and in safe operating condition before lining up for the ride
  • line up pre-ride according to pace
  • while we gather, start to establish groups of 6 
  • wait for TT Coordinator to send you off.
  • be cool, follow the rules & etiquette of the road and ride

Post-Ride Guidelines:

  • maintain social distance
  • wear a mask when in proximity to others
  • tip generously :)

Be lined up by 5:55 ready to ride. Form pods of 6. Pods are self-led, have the route!
