Registration is closed

Repeating this RHS campus run since school is closed Tuesday.  Park by the batting cage and walk down to TH 2 for warm up and cool down.   If the access loop is blocked I’ve got a plan B. 

All are welcome:   WALKERS, JOGGERS, TREKKING POLE WALKERS, RUNNERS, INJURED RUNNERS, RETURNING RUNNERS.

RBSC/RADAR Tuesday AM Track Run Workout – 9/7 –  RHS Hill Drill

The track is officially torn up until late Oct.  We’ll still meet Tuesday mornings if interested.  

 (All levels of runners are welcome.  Workouts and pace can be modified.)

Location:  RHS Parking lot by batting cage near tennis courts 6:15 AM:

OPTION #1  RHS Hill Drill  

   

  1. 4 x Warm up loops on TH 2 ~ 1 mile
  2. Dynamic Warm-up (5 mins)
  3. 3 more TH2 loops followed by 4 striders on the field  – 1 mile
  4. Hill drills:  Follow blue line down the access road hill very easy effort/walking > Follow orange line up access road at medium effort > Follow red line on flat back to start at hard effort, but not more than 85% of max speed.  Repeat 8 times~ Roughly 2.5 miles

OPTION #2  if you should prefer flat or would like to walk or walk/run:    3 x parking lot mile 

  1. Cool down (2 ) x 400 loops in the RHS parking lot –  [work in 2 X 100 backwards jogs on the flat section in front of the school entrance] ~  0.5 mile
  2. Static stretching (10 mins)

Total run distance ~ 5+ miles  

Weather forecast is: 6% chance of precipitation and 56 degrees (feels like 56) at 6 AM.
