BONUS: Recreational Ride!! Join KC&E on a beautiful ride around the stunning Lake Waramaug and it's surrounding pastoral countryside. Some elements of the ride include serene views of the lake, riding through the Kent countryside and a stunning overlook of the area from the top of Tanner Hill. This ride finishes back at the Smithy Cafe with food, libations and good times! This ride is 16 miles and has 1000ft of climbing so is meant for beginner to intermediate riders. Want to try an ebike? Meet up by the Smithy Cafe, 9 Main Street, New Preston, CT. This is about 31 miles from RBSC & Google Maps says it will take about 45 minutes to drive there from the shop.
Lineup at 9:45am, ride leaves promptly at 10am.
Parking:
Smithy Market suggests parking by the church and town park on Church Street. New Preston, CT
You can park along Church St. and Hinckley Rd. as well.
