Hello!

It's Ben Grannis here! I write to all of you from Ridgefield, Connecticut. I am back home for the holidays after wrapping up riding for 2021 in Raymond, Washington on November 13th. This first leg was over 5,200 miles and I am so grateful for all of your support throughout the journey so far. It has been humbling and incredible. I plan on heading back to Portland, Oregon on January 14th and will resume riding a few days later from Raymond, down the Pacific Coast.

I have two updates and two small requests.

Updates:

  • Thanks to all of you, Eyes Up Ride has raised over $21,500 for TextLess Live More to date. This is incredible! I cannot thank you all enough. My goal is to raise $25,000 by Christmas - less than $3,500 to go! If you share the email template below with two people and they each donate $10, we will reach that goal - easily. I will be emailing dozens of folks in the next few weeks as well and I would really appreciate your help.
  • I will be hosting two events in Ridgefield, Connecticut in the coming weeks and invite anyone in the area to join.
  1. Nod Hill Brewery - December 26th 1-6 PM. Open house style. I will be at a table to speak with folks passing through and answering questions and spreading awareness.
  2. Ridgefield Library - January 4th 7 PM. Presentation. I will speak about my experience thus far, share some photos and stories that made an impact on my journey, and answer questions.

Action items:

  1. Send the following email to five (or more!) people you know who may not know about my mission and would appreciate the cause. Feel free to include the attached photos in your email.
  1. If you have stuck your Eyes Up Ride sticker somewhere, reply to this email with a photo of it in its home! If you haven’t received one yet and would like one, let me know.

Thank you, again, for your support. Please reach out with any questions or comments! Wishing you a safe, happy holiday season.

All the best,

-Ben Grannis

Hi there!

I hope you are well. This fall, I supported a man riding 10,000 miles to raise awareness for distracted driving. His name is Ben Grannis and is on track to raise $50,000 for TextLess Live More, a nonprofit committed to ending distracted driving. Ben will be heading out on the second leg of his journey in mid-January, and needs your help to support his fundraising goal.

Please consider donating $10 (or more!) to support this important mission, you can contribute here.

Thank you so much for your consideration! If you have specific questions, you are welcome to email him at ben.grannis@gmail.com.

All the best,
