All are welcome:   WALKERS, JOGGERS, TREKKING POLE WALKERS, RUNNERS, INJURED RUNNERS, RETURNING RUNNERS.

RBC/RADAR Tuesday AM Track Run Workout 1/25 – Parking lot 1,000’s& Hills  (the track is ice/snow covered)

(All levels of runners are welcome.  Workouts and pace can be modified.)

Location:  Meet at the RHS Access Road Parking area 6:15 AM (please do not park in the upper parking lots):

  1. Warm up laps SRMS & RHS lots ~ 1 mile
  2. Dynamic warm-up (5 mins)
  3. Tempo work [2 X 50 skipping, 2X 50 butt kicks] ~ 0.5 miles
  • 2 X 1,000 w 400 recovery
  • 6 X Access Road Hill from the gate to the top [P= 60% strider pace up hill.]  Walk back down to gate & repeat.   

 ~ 3 miles       Here is the link to 800 in the lot.  Need to run back to the starting point for the full 1,000.

  1. Cool down run/walk on access road hills 0.5 miles
  2. Static stretching (10 mins or until teeth chatter)

Total run distance ~ 5 miles

Weather forecast is a 7% chance of precipitation and 29 degrees (feels like 25) at 6 AM. (There could be a few snow showers during the night.)
