Description: Saturday mini-destination ride in Freedom Park, Lagrangeville, NY. 40.5 miles, 2,034' elevation, mostly rolling hills.
It takes about 50 minutes to get there - west on 84 then north on the Taconic to 55, left on Velle Rd, right on Skidmore and right on Town. Just plug in Freedom Park to google maps (but double check it's on Skidmore Rd - I'm told sometimes it brings you to the small park in downtown Lagrangeville). There are bathrooms at the Park but they don't open til noon so plan accordingly (though hours sometimes vary). We can stop in Millbrook at about mile 31 for coffee. The park is really nice so maybe bring a chair and snack for after (there aren't any food spots nearby otherwise.
