Description:
The Fairfield County chapter of the New England Mountain Biking Association (FCNEMBA) will offer women’s group rides every Wednesday evening at 6 PM beginning April 5.
Meet at Sunset Hill parking lot, Collis P. Huntington State Park,Redding CT. GPS the intersection of Sunset Hill Road and Sunnyview Drive, Redding.
The rides will be at Collis P. Huntington State Park in Bethel. The park offers a range of terrain including wide fire roads and beginner-friendly single track. The ride will be tailored to the skill and fitness level of the group and will last about an hour to an hour and a half.
Start Time: 6:00 pm
Pace: Novice or anyone interested in a mellow, no pressure ride
Route: To be determined by ride leader based on the skill and fitness level of the group

Additional Information:
Mountain biking is a great way to experience the natural beauty of our area and can be done safely by anyone once you have some basic skills. There are some rocks and roots, and our group will take time to practice or “session” the different obstacles on the trails. A true mountain bike with knobby tires is required.
