Description: Friday B Rail Trail Ride from Empire State Trailhead in Holmes, NY (Pawling - see departure destination link below). Route (see Ride With GPS link below) is from Holmes towards Poughkeepsie, crossing the River on the "Walkway over the Hudson" and on return to departure point, stopping for lunch at Daddy O restaurant in Hopewell Junction. Mix of e-bikes and other with expectation of a solid but light B (15mph) pace for this 59 mile route. The trail is paved and quite flat (19 ft/mile). It is expected to be quite warm so be sure to bring adequate hydration, and start hydrating now.
