Travel Gravel

Description: ***New this Season*** - The goal is to post a Travel Gravel ride once a month. The objective is to ride some awesome gravel routes that are outside of our local area ~ generally within two hours of Ridgefield. Our first ride (25.6 miles, 49% gravel) will be in the Washington/Roxbury area (a gravel fan favorite!) and only 55 minutes from Ridgefield. Join us for a fun afternoon of gravel with post ride pizza. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before start.

RIDERS MUST HAVE GRAVEL TIRES. "Recommended" tire width would be 38mm or larger. No road tires allowed on this ride. Riders with road tires will not be checked in and will not be covered under club insurance.

Start Time: 1:00 pm

Skill Level: B and above

Asphalt Pace: 13 -16 mph average

Gravel Pace: 6-12 mph average (Terrain dependent)
