This ride will be almost entirely on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail (HVRT). It will start and end at the Millerton Trailhead.  Parking is located between Harney & Sons and the Millerton Train Station. Our route runs about 13.5 miles North up the HVRT to the turnaround at Orphan Farm Road. The area is quite scenic passing numerous farms, marshes and the Taconic Mountains to the East. The trail is flat and fully paved except for a short (200-yard) dirt/gravel section connector near Copake.  For those wishing to do so, there will be the option to leave the HVRT and take parallel country roads from Under Mountain Road back to Millerton.  These back roads are quite scenic, and have very little traffic, but they are a bit hilly.  Upon return there will be a group lunch at a place TBD.
