Travel Gravel #6

Description: ***New this Season*** - The goal is to post a Travel Gravel ride once a month. The objective is to ride some gravel routes that are outside of our local area ~ generally within two hours of Ridgefield.

Our sixth Travel Gravel ride (35 miles, 56% unpaved) will be in the Kent area, including the Macedonia State Park. We will be joining the KC&E Adventures Road Club for one of their no cost "open rides". Travel time is about 60 minutes from Ridgefield. Meeting place is the Kent Town Hall parking lot. Please arrive 15 minutes before and have the route downloaded.

RIDERS MUST HAVE GRAVEL TIRES. "Recommended" tire width would be 38mm or larger. No road tires allowed on this ride. Riders with road tires will not be checked in and will not be covered under club insurance. Please have route downloaded.

Start Time: 9:00 am

Skill Level: B and above

Asphalt Pace: 13 -16 mph average

Gravel Pace: 6-12 mph average (Terrain dependent)
