Description: ***New this Season*** - The goal is to post a Travel Gravel ride once a month. The objective is to ride some gravel routes that are outside of our local area ~ generally within two hours of Ridgefield.
Our seventh Travel Gravel ride (33 miles, 70% unpaved) will be in the southern MA area, starting at York Lake. I haven't been in this area before, so no insight, but my sources say it's good. Travel time is about 100 minutes from Ridgefield. Meeting place is the York Lake trail head. Please arrive 15 minutes before and have the route downloaded.
RIDERS MUST HAVE GRAVEL TIRES. "Recommended" tire width would be 38mm or larger. No road tires allowed on this ride. Riders with road tires will not be checked in and will not be covered under club insurance. Please have route downloaded.

Asphalt Pace: 13 -16 mph average
Gravel Pace: 6-12 mph average (Terrain dependent)
