Description: Come join us for this classic ride which traverses some of the best dirt roads in Northern Westchester! Forecast is calling for a sunny day with excellent cycling ride temps predicted! Expect a 12-1/2 mph average pace. Slower if roads and trails are soft from the recent thaw. Be prepared for mud ... get those fenders ready! This route has 87 feet per mile of climbing and there are sections, such Hunt Lane, with grades up to 15%. Registrants should be comfortable with the advertised pace. Departure Location: the South Salem Park and Ride on Spring Street. Departure Time: "Clipped in and Ready to Ride" at 10 AM!
