Description: With over 50% unpaved roads, this area and route (and various alternatives) has become a staple in our Gravel community. We will be starting/ending in Katonah town parking lot, cycling through Katonah, Bedford and Goldens Bridge. This ride will be a no drop, casual/social pace with conditions expected to be soft and muddy. Highly recommend bike fenders. This is a joint ride with KC&E and RBC members. Special thanks to Ian Yorty for this specific route.
Post and Pre ride drinks and snacks will be at Tazza Cafe, across the street on Katonah Ave.
Riders must have gravel tires with "recommended" minimum 38mm gravel tire width. No road tires allowed on this ride. Riders with road tires will not be checked in and therefore will not be covered under club insurance.
