Forever cognizant of the setting sun, Tuesday Night Road Rides, with ride leaders Dan, Michael and Jim, have a dedicated objective to finish before sundown utilizing various routes in the local area. Cyclists should be ready to roll at the starting time listed, with route downloaded. Rides are usually followed by a quick bite to eat at a local establishment for good laughs and cheers.
Route Description: A 21.4 mile route (1400 ft Elevation) starts in the Hayfield parking lot. We head west on Bloomer road and Hardscrabble road to Purdys (including a tough climb on Sunset Drive) and into Somers for a 1.25 mile segment. We head back east on Waccabuc Road (Rte 138) once we pass through Golden Bridge. We climb up Bogtown, Cat Ridge and June Road, before heading back to Hayfields on Bloomer.
