Description:
***Warning*** At the 4.5 mile point, this route has 0.6 mile of mostly flat packed dirt and some loose gravel*** Starting at 5:45pm in the parking lot behind The North Star Restaurant in Pound Ridge, we'll be travelling through the mostly quiet roads of Pound Ridge and Northern Greenwich to reach the tiny town of Stanwich. From Stanwich we'll return through Northern Stamford upto and around Laurel Reservoir and back into Pound Ridge. ***Please note*** Soon after leaving Stanwich at the 13.5 mile point, there is a 15 mph speed zone. Once you see the 15 mph sign, you have 10 seconds to lower your speed (5 to 8 mph recommendation) as you enter a descending hairpin turn. Please be careful.
