Description: Harlem Valley Rail Trail - Wassaic to Copake
Date/Time: September 30th - Wednesday - arrive please by 9:30am, 9:45am departure
Who is this For?: C+ and above riders, a no-drop ride!
The Harlem Valley Rail Trail, starting at the Wassaic Metro North train station, runs 24 miles North up the Harlem Valley to the Bish Bash Falls/Copake area. The area is quite scenic passing numerous farms, marshes and the Taconic Mountains to the East. Trail is flat and fully paved except for a short 200 yard dirt/gravel section connector near Copake. Total distance is 48 miles with less than a thousand feet of elevation gain.
Cost: Riders responsible for own luncheon expense and parking fee
