Who is this For?: With the distance offerings, any cyclist familiar and confident in their equipment should feel welcome! Avg speeds range from 12mph to 18mph and above!
Come ready to ride! The Battenkill is a mixed terrain race & fondo with overall & age group awards. There are three "Fondo" lengths to choose from ... the Gran (62 miles), Mid (45 miles) and Mini (23 miles). The routes pass through the villages and hamlets of Southern Washington County, NY with a mixed terrain and up to 20% dirt/gravel roads. This is a Meet-Up event for RBC members (not a club sponsored ride) and we've had a fantastic experience in prior years. RBC Meet UP events are not RBC rides. RBC members need to sign up and accept the terms of the organization that is running the event. The posting of the event in the RBC calendar are for informational purposes and to facilitate member meet ups for the event.
