Description: 7:30am start in Bethel @ Broken Symmetry Brewhouse (5 Depot Pl, Bethel, CT 06801) and ride down to Exit 21 (old exit 42) Merritt Parkway Commuter Lot in Westport (follow Rt 53 down to Merritt Pkwy Exit 21 commuter lot). Ride with Exit 21 group and at mile 52 (just before Saugatuck Reservoir) turn back north to return to Bethel (via Rt 53). Ride length 51 Miles (2,800ft of climbing). Ride Option: 8:20am start at Merritt Pkwy Exit 21 (old exit 42) commuter lot in Westport. The map link below starts from Exit 21 and loops through Bethel. You can decide in Bethel to end your ride or continue ride to Exit 21 lot. Some decide to ride down to reservoir and ride back to Bethel, see above. Note, this is not part of the official ride and insurance coverage may not apply for the part I am not there. Ride length 41 Miles (2,100ft of climbing).
