Description: Ken and Kathy are looking to post several gravel rides this season, focusing on the intermediate gravel rider (a level below Jim and Mike's typical rides) . We will build on length and difficulty as the season progresses.
Our first ride will be a non technical route (mostly) with familiar gravel roads in the North Salem/Waccabuc area. We'll start from Richardson Park, across from Ridgefield HS. Gravel roads on the route include; Vail Lane, Baxter, Turkey Hill, including a small single track segment (Sarah Bishop Lane), giving us a friendly gravel ride to start the season. Riders must have gravel tires.
No road tires allowed on this ride. Riders with road tires will not be checked in and therefore will not be covered under club insurance.
