RBSC Destination Ride: Harlem Valley Rail Ride 2018

  • Name of Ride:  Harlem Valley Rail Ride
  • Date: July 22, 2018
  • Time of Ride: Start times are staggered based on distance/route (7am 100 miles through 10am for 33 miles).  
  • The 57 miles (Ken) and 72 miles (Darren) routes will be leader supported
  • The 57 & 72 Mile Groups will meet at 8am at ride start.
  • Both rides will be led at B pace (15mph average) .

    Beautiful ride along  country roads and rail trail.   
  •           Let us know you are coming to meet up by registering here and wear your RBSC colors! You must register for the actual ride on the ride's website.

  • Pace:15mph (you're welcome to ride at B- or B+ pace but these paces are not leader supported)
  • Approximate duration of ride:  It depends on the route you choose.  Bet on 5 hours for the 72.
  • This is a supported ride with well-stocked rest stops every 15-20 miles.  There is a fabulous BBQ afterward (included in registration price) that you won’t want to miss!

  • Meeting Place/Time:  The ride starts at Eddie Collins Field in Millerton, NY.  We should allow 80 minutes to drive from the shop. Darren will lead a carpool from the shop at 6.30am.
