  We lead "GROUP" rides that require each of us to adhere to these protocols. Your efforts to make our rides safe and fun are appreciated...and expected. Thank you!

  Ride Requirements:

  • groups of 6 or less (non-negotiable)
    
  • having the route is required (just safer that way)
    
  • carry water, food, cell phone, gps and flat repair kit
    
  • bike should be tuned, tires properly inflated and in safe operating condition before lining up for the ride
  • line up pre-ride according to pace
  • while we gather, start to establish groups of 6 
  • wait for TT Ride Captain to send you off.
  • be cool, follow the rules & etiquette of the road and ride

  Post-Ride Guidelines:

  • If the weather is nice then the deck will fill up at dinner time  - reservations suggested
    
  • each rider will get a drink ticket at ride send off, tip the staff
    
  • TIP BIG…again, non-negotiable

The annual “Queen of the Classics” returns to Washington County in Upstate New York on May 18, 2024 for an incredibly fun, all-inclusive, single-day cycling event and party.   Please join fellow RBClub members in supporting our very Special local athletes.

  RBClub will once again escort the Special Olympics Torch Run, hosted by theRidgefield Police Department.

  The Torch Run is put on by police departments throughout the State of CT.  The Special Olympics Torch is lit and passed along from town to town until it gets to Hartford for the Big Event.  The run will take place just before our regularly scheduled Friday 9:30 ride. The ride will take us through the streets of Ridgefield, past two schools with all the kids out to support the athletes and finishes down and along Main Street.  Please tell your friends and family to come on out and support our local Special Olympians.

  The mission of The Tour is to bring together community resources with the common goal of raising funds to support the care, treatment, education, and prevention of cancer for residents living, working, or receiving treatment for cancer in Northwest Connecticut.
